Centrifuge Chain is the gateway for real-world assets to the Blockchain Multiverse. It's built on Parity Substrate with an initial bridge to Ethereum which allows faster progress and a consistent approach for certain features. Centrifuge chain enables decentralised business asset ownership and exchange in order to connect the global financial supply chain.
You can now use OnFinality to deploy high quality, high up-time nodes in minutes to the Centrifuge Chain with only a few clicks. Lets get started
Create a Centrifuge Account
Follow the steps on https://developer.centrifuge.io/chain/get-started/account/ to create a account on the Centrifuge portal, then come back here to continue to creating and running a node using OnFinality
Login to OnFinality
Once you're in, go to to the Nodes List page and click on Create New up in the top right of your screen.
Select the Centrifuge Public Network
The first page will allow you to select what network you want to create a new node in. You're going to select the Centrifuge Public network.
Configure your new Centrifuge Node
This steps allows you to enter the various settings that you want your node to be created with, you can enter a memorable name, and also change the node size and deployment location.
I'm going to give my node a simple name, and deploy it to AWS' Tokyo region.
Lastly, I'm going to change the Node Specification. We strongly suggest following the recommended settings here if your node is going to be used for any production workloads - changing this settings could result in adverse behaviour across your network.
On the next screen you have a chance to review your new node, click Create Node to provision it. If you haven't already created a node, you'll be asked to enter your billing details - you can read more about this here.
Congratulations, now go and build your dApp!
Back on your Nodes list, you'll see your new node appear. It will take a few minutes to initialise but you can click on it to view its details.
